The St. Martha School Board is a consultative board, established by the Pastor, to assist the Principal and Administration in the governance of the school by providing advice and counsel, particularly in the following areas: Finance, Advancement, Mission Effectiveness, Facilities, and Strategic Planning. This consultative board provides an opportunity for individuals within the school and community to provide valuable assistance in their areas of expertise in order to help carry out the mission of the school. A typical board member term is three years, with the option to renew for three more years (maximum of six years).

Aaron Cheesman is a committed leader in both his professional and local community. He is the President of the Board at St. Martha Catholic School for the 2025-2026 school year after serving on the board for the past three years. He is dedicated to advancing the school's mission and supporting its long-term strategic plan to ensure a thriving school for years to come.
Professionally, Aaron is the Vice President of Advisor Development at Gabor Financial Solutions, where he has worked for 19 years. He leads a team of over 20 financial advisors across Florida, while also helping hundreds of individual clients and families achieve their financial goals.
A Sarasota native, Aaron graduated from Sarasota High School and went on to play baseball at Florida State University before being drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies. He remains deeply involved in the local baseball community as the founder and head coach of the Lakewood Ranch Legends youth travel team and as an assistant varsity baseball coach at Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School.
Aaron and his wife, Laura, are parishioners at the Church of Saint Patrick. Their two children, Addison (17) and Jackson (11), attend Cardinal Mooney and St. Martha, respectively. The Cheesman family is committed to the mission of St. Martha Catholic School, where Laura also serves as the leader of the Catholic Outreach Committee.

Lauren M. Przybyła, Esq. is a seasoned attorney and respected community leader in the Tampa
Bay area, with a longstanding commitment to faith-based service and education. She is a licensed
attorney in the State of Florida and the founder of Przybyła Law, P.A., a law firm she has
successfully led in Sarasota for over 14 years.
In addition to her legal practice, Lauren is the founder of FoxWaters Consulting, LLC, a
healthcare consulting firm specializing in the implementation and management of electronic
medical records for hospitals nationwide. She leverages her legal background, business expertise,
and strategic insight to help clients navigate complex regulatory and operational challenges.
Lauren has served on the Board of Directors at St. Martha Catholic School for the past five
years, holding key leadership roles including Secretary, President, and currently, Vice President.
She brings to the Board a unique combination of legal and business acumen, as well as a deep
commitment to fostering collaboration among families, faculty, and parish leadership.
Faith is central to Lauren’s personal and professional life. She has been an active volunteer in
numerous ministries throughout the Diocese of St. Petersburg and is a dedicated parishioner at
St. Martha Catholic Church, where her daughter, Layla, serves as an altar server. Lauren and her
husband are the proud parents of three children: Layla (11), Jack (6), and Joseph (3).
Lauren is deeply committed to the mission of St. Martha Catholic School: to nurture students in
faith, academic excellence, and character through Christian service to the school, parish, and
broader community. Her leadership consistently reflects these values in both her professional
endeavors and personal life.

Tammie Sandoval-Badger serves on the Board of St. Martha Catholic School, where she is committed to advancing the school’s mission of academic excellence, faith formation, and community service. A licensed attorney and Certified Trust & Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA), Tammie brings more than 15 years of leadership experience in the trust and wealth management industry, where she focuses on governance, stewardship, and building sustainable strategies for families and institutions.
In addition to her role as Chief Fiduciary Officer at Bank OZK, Tammie is active in the Sarasota community, serving on nonprofit boards, and engaging in philanthropic initiatives. She has been recognized for her leadership with multiple professional and community awards, including Sarasota Elite Attorney, Women on the Scene, and 40 Under 40.
Her involvement at St. Martha reflects both her professional expertise and her personal commitment as a parent and parishioner. She values St. Martha’s integration of faith, academia, and character development, and she sees her board service as an opportunity to help ensure every child benefits from a strong foundation rooted in faith, knowledge, and community. By contributing her governance and strategic planning expertise, Tammie hopes to support the school’s long-term vitality and its mission to prepare students to thrive and lead with purpose.

Barbora Hawkins is a passionate advocate for Catholic education and community engagement, currently serving on the St. Martha School Board. With a professional background in business development, client relations, and finance, she brings strategic insight and a collaborative spirit to her role.
Originally from Northern California, Barbora and her family relocated to Sarasota in 2022. Prior to the move, she served for two years on the school board of her son’s Catholic school, where she played an active role in mission alignment, strategic planning and facilities planning.
Her family is deeply rooted in the local Catholic community. Her older son attends Cardinal Mooney High School, while her younger son is a middle school student at St. Martha. They are parishioners at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church, where Barbora and her husband serve as marriage mentors, and she recently joined the women’s guild group.
Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, Barbora enjoys traveling, spending time at the beach, hosting family game nights, and cooking.
She is committed to fostering a nurturing, faith-filled environment where students can thrive academically and spiritually.

Bobby Rosenberg is a financial advisor in Sarasota and a member of the St. Martha Catholic School Board. He brings more than 20 years of experience in financial services, continuing the Rosenberg family’s longstanding tradition of client-focused financial guidance that began with his father, Ed Rosenberg, who has worked in the industry for over 40 years.
As part of Rosenberg Asset Management and Cetera, Bobby provides individuals and families with comprehensive financial strategies in planning, investments, and wealth management. He is registered with Series 7, Series 66, and Series 24 licenses across more than 30 states and is also licensed to offer insurance services in multiple states, including Florida.
Bobby has earned numerous professional honors, including Summit’s Ascent Apex Award, multiple memberships in the firm’s President’s Club and Chairmen’s Club, and recognition as a five-time member of Fidelity’s Distinguished Advisor Council. He also serves on the Financial Services Institute Advisor Council and Cetera’s Advisor Engagement Council, reflecting his leadership and influence within the profession. He also serves on the board of the Sarasota Sun Devils Football and Cheer and coaches the 10 U Football team.
Through his service on the St. Martha Catholic School Board, Bobby combines his professional expertise with his Catholic faith and commitment to education, helping to ensure the school’s continued growth and success for generations to come.

James A. Fowler, Jr. is a proud parent and fourth-generation Sarasota County native with deep ties to both Sarasota and Manatee communities. He and his wife, Alene, are raising their two children in the local community, both of whom attend St. Martha Catholic School.
James is entering his second term on the School Board, where he is committed to supporting the mission of Catholic education, strengthening the St. Martha’s community, and ensuring every child has the opportunity to grow in faith, character, and academic excellence.
In his professional life, James is the co-founder of Fowler Law Group, a local law firm with offices in Sarasota and Bradenton. Over the course of his career, he has served both as a prosecutor and defense attorney, earning recognition as one of the region’s top trial lawyers. He has also been nominated for judicial appointment by the local nominating committee on three occasions. His professional honors include SRQ Top Elite Attorney – Criminal Defense, Super Lawyers, and America’s Top 50 Lawyers.
Beyond his legal work, James is actively involved in the community through his support of Mote Marine Aquarium and by coaching youth football and basketball. With a family history of service and leadership, he believes strongly in giving back to his community and setting a positive example for future generations.
James is grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the St. Martha Catholic School family and is dedicated to supporting teachers, staff, parents, and—most importantly—the students who make the school so special.

Karen Crevasse Trautman is a retired attorney who currently serves as the Parish Representative on the St. Martha Catholic School Board. At St. Martha she has been a catechist, lector and eucharistic minister. As a school board member she brings a dedication and passion for Catholic education to help guide school policy and enhance opportunities for the students, faculty and parents of the school.
A native Floridian, her legal career focused on protecting and working with the children and families of the state in both civil and criminal venues. These include the Guardian ad Litem program, Office of the Attorney General and Public Defender. As an educator in both community colleges and a private school, she focused on students at all levels from pre-k to college. After retirement she provided pro bono legal services to families and volunteers at local organizations. She raised her three children in Bradenton.
As a Board member and in every role she values collaboration, outreach and striving for excellence. Her Catholic faith guides her approach to life at home, in the parish, the school and community and is the bedrock of her life.
Karen has a Juris Doctor from the University of Tennessee, a B.S. from the University of Florida and is retired from the Florida Bar. She taught at community colleges in Pensacola and Bradenton Florida and was the religion instructor for Pre-k through Twelve at St. Stephen’s School in Bradenton. She has served on boards and committees for the gifted advisory council, school advisory councils, Healthy Start, PTA and other school and community activities in the area. She worked with church youth groups and on mission trips with middle and high school students in foreign and domestic locations.
